Patricia Island Estates, Phase 10, has successfully amended their Restrictive Covenants to prohibit short term leasing. The amendment now provides the ability to lease a property for no less than 12 months. The intent of the amendment discourages homeowners of Phase 10 to use their homes for Airbnb, Vrbo, or any other short-term rental service. The recent "Things to Do Survey", that was sent out to the residents, had a question regarding having a similar covenant amendment for their phase. Of the 56 respondents, 73% responded yes to the question. The board will be pursuing this action and it will be included on a ballot in October, 2025.






The PIENA Annual Meeting was held Saturday, September 13. We would like to thank and commend Walt Crane for his service. He has been on the board since 2020, the year that PIENA was formed. He has dedicated countless hours to our community and approached his service with a passion and a sense of doing what he felt was right.
