BOD Candidates

TERRI LLOYD (updated 8/20) - I have served as secretary to the PIENA BOD since Oct. 2023 and would like to continue in that capacity. I am the administrator of the PIENA Facebook page and publish the quarterly newsletter as well as various BOD duties and responsibilities. For those that do not know me, my background has been a combination of administrative positions and commercial property management. Before retiring in 2020 and moving to Grove, my primary career focus was in office and commercial property management. My relevant experience was gained from my years with The Williams Company as a Property Manager of the 320 S. Boston Building in Tulsa and 2405 Grand in Crown Center, KC, MO. Upon my return to Tulsa, I was employed by Tooman Collins Associates as VP-Property Management and then as Director of Property Management for Realty Operating Co., a subsidiary of Kaiser Oil Co. In addition to supervising property managers and staff, I developed periodic reports and budgets, approved all expenditures, supervised tenant lease construction on all new leases including solicitation of bids and contract preparation. My position directly or indirectly responded to tenant requests and/or complaints to establish favorable tenant relations, negotiated lease renewals and expansions and assisted in the evaluation and physical inspection of future acquisitions. After adopting our son, I chose to stay home until he started school and then changed paths to avoid the long hours and on-call duties that come with a property management position. We had moved to Missouri at that time and I was employed with the Willard School District as office manager at the middle school until we moved to Grove. My parents moved to Grove over 50 years ago fulfilling a dream of theirs to retire at Grand Lake where many family members were living. My frequent visits made me very familiar with Grove and I have watched it grow into the city it is today. Like my parents, my husband, Pat, and I chose to retire here and were fortunate to find a home at Patricia Island Estates in 2020. I have enjoyed my involvement on the board and look forward to serving our residents in future endeavors if I am re-elected.

DR. CRAIG CORRELL (updated 8/20) - I believe I would be a great candidate for the PIENA Board of Directors due to my common sense, collaborative approach to addressing challenges. The role of a neighborhood association board member is to create a sense of unity in our community. I am committed to fostering open

communication and transparency in decision-making processes, ensuring that every resident’s voice is heard and valued. With a vast and diverse experience in community leadership, I am committed to bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this vital role. Having served as a board member on a community college, a local hospital, an innovation center, the chamber of commerce and an economic advisory council, I have developed a deep understanding of the inner workings of various organizations and the importance of fostering strong relationships among stakeholders. These experiences have allowed me to collaborate effectively, navigate complex challenges and drive positive outcomes for the community. Through my tenure in these leadership positions, I have witnessed firsthand the power of engaged and cohesive communities. I believe the collective efforts of passionate individuals can lead to significant successes in our neighborhood. My two years on the board have been beneficial for myself in learning more about our neighborhood. I feel the board has been instrumental in increasing opportunities in our community and improved the process at the board level. I look forward to serving a second term should I be re-elected. In conclusion, my diverse background in community leadership and education has prepared me to serve effectively on the board of directors for our neighborhood association. I am eager to channel my experience and dedication to make a positive impact on the place we call home.

TERRI SCHAFFER - I have a heart for Patricia Island Estates Country Club and the community of people who live, work and play here. I’ve watched the changes that have taken place over the past 10 years and it’s been incredible. I have been actively involved with PIENA since inception serving as the Social Committee Chair until January 2025. I continue to serve on the Welcome Committee and volunteer to help with Social Committee events as needed. The Neighborhood Association has helped form a cohesive community of homeowners that likely would not have existed otherwise. It would be my pleasure to volunteer my skills and continue to help lead and grow this community by serving as a member of this board. Since moving to Grove, over 20 years ago, I have been active in the community and have served on various boards, namely, Grand Lake Soccer Club, Grove Rotary Foundation, and Co-chaired the Grove High School Rotary Interact Club. I retired from my job as a financial advisor in 2021. I live on Lake Breeze Road with my husband Frank and together we enjoy playing golf, fishing, gardening, and sharing our home with our family, and spending time with our wonderful friends.
